Using the free tools and reference pages

ChromaWell's tools and reference pages are provided as-is, free to use, without an account. Named-color data is sourced from open, openly-licensed datasets documented on /methodology/ — the CSS Color Module Level 4 / X11 named-color list and the xkcd color-name survey (CC0). Conversion, contrast, and color-blindness simulation results are computed by a tested color-core library, but we don't guarantee the tools are error-free, and they shouldn't be the sole basis for a decision where accuracy is safety-critical (medical, aviation, or similar regulated color coding).

Pro Palette Pack purchases

The Pro Palette Pack is a one-time digital purchase, delivered by email within the timeframe stated on its product page. Because it's a digital product delivered promptly after payment, purchases are generally final once delivered; if delivery fails or the files are faulty, contact us and we'll fix it or refund you.

Donations

Donations made through the support page are voluntary and non-refundable, and don't create any additional rights or obligations beyond our thanks.

Changes

We may update these terms as the site changes; the date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
